--- AVR News Update ---
Hello and Happy Sunday!

On the Home Front: It's May. Wtf. I've done things all week, but nothing of any importance. Just things. Things needing done. Mostly boring things. And if it doesn't rain today I'll need to wash the cars again. Fucking pollen.

Touching Nature: 80s in the beginning of May. I truly hate you, Ma Nature. Is it really too much to ask for more than 1 day of Spring? And what's with all the fucking pollen? You're a skank. Thank goodness the leaves are out now, throwing shade.

Book News: Monster Porn Monday is going on hiatus until I can either find some freebies I haven't read yet or I start writing my own and sharing them here. Other than that, I don't have much book news. Though according to Goodreads I'm 19 books behind on my yearly goal. Eh. Whatever. I'll get caught up eventually. lol

Don't Touch That Dial!: Trip and I finished season 1 of The Flash. I really loathe Iris. Seriously.

At the Flicks: We saw Avengers: Infinity War. It's a great movie. But that ending. O.M.G., that ending. I'm looking forward to IW2 to see how they fix that fucked up shit. Because fix it they better.

Cyberspace Playground: Pokémon and Wordscapes, as per usual. However, I did find some funny shit on YouTube. Here's a sample...

Randomness:

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: People suck. Ok, not ALL of them, but most of them.

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

  1. I'm 25 books behind, I assume I wont catch up but whatever, it's been a weird year.
It was 99 on Wednesday here. Like WHAT!?!? Then 88 on Thursday and today is 65. My sinuses are annoying and my entire face hurts. I am starting to think I miss Fall/Winter.

I am waiting for you to write one! LIKE WAITING!!! :)

Have a great week, Carol! Happy Reading!

  2. I'm 7 books behind, but only because I suspect my goal is a lot lower. (I think I said 30 for the year.) I hit a huge reading block that I have been stuck in for TWO MONTHS!

Your nature comments are spot on!
Hopefully this damn pollen goes away soon.

    1. That sucks. The reading block, that is. I hate reading blocks. Ugh.

We need a good hard rain, but it doesn't look like we'll get one anytime soon. sigh

  3. We are behind on the Avengers series and need to catch up. Yep, we had to put on the air, but I am not complaining. Everything is green and the Royals and I get to spend afternoons in the sun. Pollen sucks :)

    1. I finally saw Dr Strange and the Guardians movies back in March. So I was pretty much up-to-date. I need a rewatch. lol

I love when everything is green! I just wish we could enjoy it longer. Who needs July temps in May? Gah! lol
